The Women's Dermatologic Society 

The Women's Dermatologic Society, founded in 1973, is dedicated to helping dermatologists fulfill their greatest potential and assisting them in making a contribution to our specialty and society. To achieve this goal, the Society relies on the active participation of its members, who represent a diverse cross-section of dermatologists, trainees, and industry leaders from across the globe.

Mentorship is a hallmark benefit of WDS membership, offering dermatologists meaningful opportunities to connect with experienced leaders for guidance, support, and professional growth. PLAY SAFE IN THE SUN | The WOMEN'S SHELTER INITIATIVE

The Women's Dermatologic Society is very passionate about our Service Programs, which began in 2004 with Play Safe in the Sun and then continued in 2018 with the Women's Shelter Initiative. We have created two distinct programs that offer important sun safety education and outreach to women in need in communities across the United States and internationally.
